It was a fascination of clothes as a visual language that hooked Elin Eng when she begun exploring the idea of fashion as a kid. A curiosity to how we enhance our identities, or perceived identities, through clothes made her continue the path to fashion. (Whatever fashion actually means?)

2011 she graduated from The Swedish School of Textiles with the award winning collection Infatuated by the holy quest of growth, with which she has appeared on several fashion weeks and in the exhibition Suitable Suits. Winning the Show up Fashion Awards (2011) encouraged her to establish a company under her own brand - Elin Eng (she dumped half of her name in doing so).

Without rushing, step by step Elin Eng is busy with the nitty-gritty of building a company - working in the borderland of art, design and production. In November 2012 Elin Eng became one of twelve candidates in the Rookies competition designed by the Swedish Fashion Council.

Added to her fashion design the company has also taken on a direction towards costume design, as Magnolia Agency is now representing her.
